There will be a group walk of the Ithaca year round on Sunday, March 10. Meet at the start point at noon. We will probably hit a local Ithaca eatery once the walk is over.
The club has planned a car trip to do two of the Great Lakes Seaway Trail Volkssport Association's (and I thought our club name was long!) walks on Sunday, May 5th. We'll be doing two 5K walks that day. See the Club Trips page for details.
Also, great news. A bus group from Ontario will be coming down on June 1st to do several of our walks. They will start at Watkins Glen around 9:00 a.m.
We are still getting a few requests for Baseball Walk books. Remember, you have a full year after the official end of the program to finish your book. It's not too late to order one--summer baseball season is coming soon.
And, speaking of special programs, we will be sponsoring a new special program next year, Walking with the Trees. Details will follow later on this year.
