Taughannock Falls State Park

START/FINISH: Taughannock Falls State Park (outside Ithaca, NY) Once inside the park, follow FLRVC signs to start point. There is a $6 fee to park at Taughannock Falls S.P.

TRAIL INFORMATION: Trail rating is 2B. Parts not suitable for wheelchairs or strollers. Trail is on well maintained trails and along lake shoreline with some hills and steps to climb.
ELIGIBILITY: All ages are welcome to participate. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult; pets must be on a leash and you should clean up after your pet.
REGISTRATION: Event is eligible for acquisition of IVV achievement awards. One event stamp may be entered in event books. Fee is $3.00. Unlimited distance credit may be entered in distance books. You may walk twice using the same start card. No refunds once event has started. Participants may walk at no charge if no stamp or award is waxnted.

TIME: 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Finish before dark..
DIRECTIONS: From Binghamton, take NY Route 17 west to Owego, then take Route 96/96B north to Ithaca; turn right on Route 13, then left on Route 89. Follow Route 89 north to Taughannock Falls State Park which is on the western shore of Cayuga Lake. From other points, take preferred route to the Ithaca area, then follow Route 89 to the park. Parking available inside the park for a fee. Follow FLRVC signs to start point.
REFRESHMENTS: Food and water available at or near the start point. You should carry water with you on the walk. There are facilities available at the start point.
