Come join the Finger Lakes Region Volkssport Club for a scenic 10k walk through Oquaga Creek State Park, New York. Part of the walk follows the Finger Lakes Trail. NOTE: The walk is in Oquaga Creek S.P., NOT Oquaga Lake.

START/FINISH: Oquaga Creek State Park (near Bainbridge, NY)
Note: Avoid park entrance fee by arriving before 10:00 a.m.

TRAIL INFORMATION: Walk is on portion of the Finger Lakes Trail and is on woodland trails and rural roads. The route may be MUDDY, so dress accordingly. Trail rating is 3.
ELIGIBILITY: All ages are welcome to participate. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult; pets must be on a leash and you should clean up after your pet.
REGISTRATION: Event is eligible for acquisition of IVV achievement awards. One event stamp may be entered in event books; fee is $3.00. Unlimited distance credit may be entered in distance books; you may walk twice using the same start card. Event award is available for $5.00 including walk event credit stamp. IVV achievement books are available for $5.00 each. No refunds once event is started. Can walk free if no event/award is wanted.

TIME: 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
DIRECTIONS: From Binghamton take Route 88 east to Bainbridge. Follow Route 206 east approximately 3 miles, then turn right on County Road 20 and follow this road approximately 9 mile to the park entrance. Watch for and follow FLRVC signs to the Start Point when you reach the park. From New York City take Route 17 west to exit 84 at Deposit. Go north on Route 8 for three miles. Turn on County Road 20, follow for approximately 9 miles to the park. From Albany, take the New York State Thruway (Interstate 90) west to Schenectady. Take exit 25A and follow Route 88 west to Bainbridge exit. Take Route 206 east to Beech Hill Road. Follow this Road to the park. From Buffalo, Rochester, and Syracuse, take the New York State Thruway (Interstate 90) east to exit 36 (junction with Interstate 81). Take Interstate 81 south to Whitney Point exit. Take Route 206 east to Beech Hill Road. Follow this road to the park. Once you get to the park, look for signs.
WEATHER: Events are held regardless of weather. Plan and dress accordingly.
REFRESHMENTS: There's water and restrooms in the park.
