Heiberg Forest (Tully)
Come join the Finger Lakes Volkssport Club and the Syracuse Folksmarch Club for a beautiful fall walk through the Heiberg Memorial Forest area, near Tully, New York.

TRAIL INFORMATION/CONDITIONS: Trail rating is 2+. Trail is on forest trails and local roads. Not suitable for strollers or wheelchairs.
ELGIBILITY: All ages are welcome to participate. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Pets must be on a leash and you should clean up after your pet.
REGISTRATION: Event is eligible for acquisition of IVV achievement awards. One event stamp may be entered in event books. Fee is $3.00. Unlimited distance credit may be entered in distance books. You may walk twice using the same start card. Event award shield is available for $6.00, counting walk event credit. IVV achievement books are available for $5.00 each. No refunds once event has started. Participants may walk at no charge if no event credit or award is wanted.

TIME: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon
DIRECTIONS: Take I 81 north to exit 14. Turn east onto NYS Rte 80. Proceed into the village of Tully, through traffic signal, and turn right at the first street, Railroad Avenue. Continue to stop sign, turn left and then right to cross the railroad tracks on Grove Street. Proceed south for approximately 1.8 miles to Maple Ridge Road, the forest entrance.
WEATHER: Events are held regardless of weather. Plan and dress appropriately.
REFRESHMENTS: Water and facilities available at the start point.
