Special Event Programs: America's Baseball Walks, Bakeries, Diners, Fraternal Organizations, Main Street, Murals
This walk takes place during Cortland's annual Pumpkin Fest. There will be vendors and festivities along the route. Look for the orange pond at the waterworks! Route follows city sidewalks (with a few hills) past historical homes, through Cortland State University, and several parks. There will be music, arts, and crafts along the route.

Award: A awards available. There will be a special, anniversary magnet available as an A award.
Eligibility: All ages are welcome to participate. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Pets are allowed if leashed. Please clean up after your pet. Registration: Each participant must register at the start point and fill out a start card. Start cards are turned in at the finish. Event is eligible for acquisition of IVV achievement awards. Fee is $3.00. IVV achievement books are available for $5.00 each. Participants may walk at no charge if no event credit or award is wanted.
Directions: From north or south on Route 81, take exit 11, Route 13 south. Turn slight right onto Route 13, Clinton Road. Turn left onto US 11/NY 12/NY 41. Turn right onto NY 13/Tompkins Street. The YMCA is the fourth building on the right past the Cortland Standard Building.
Refreshments: Water and restrooms are available at the start point. Food and other beverages will be available along the walk route.
