START/FINISH: Bowman Lake State Park, near Oxford, New York
NOTE: There is a $4.00 fee (per car) to enter Bowman Lake State Park.

TRAIL INFORMATION: Trail rating is 2B; walk is on roads and trails; part of the walk is on the Finger Lakes Trail; no strollers or wheelchairs.
ELIGIBILITY: All ages are welcome to participate. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult; pets must be on a leash and you should clean up after your pet.
REGISTRATION: Event is eligible for acquisition of IVV achievement awards. One event stamp may be entered in event books. Fee is $3.00. Unlimited distance credit may be entered in distance books. You may walk twice using the same start card. IVV achievement books are available for $5.00 each. No refunds once event is started. Participants may walk at no charge if no event credit or award is wanted.

TIME: Start anytime between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.. Finish before dark.
DIRECTIONS: From the Binghamton area, take I-81 north to Exit 6 (Chenango Forks), then turn right and take Rte. 12 to Oxford, then turn left on Route 220. Follow Rte 220 toward McDonough, then turn left at Bowman Lake State Park entrance road. From the Syracuse area take Route 81 south to exit 9 (Marathon). Route 221 east to route 41, route 41 through the town of Willett for 1/2 mile, turn left onto Germantown road to McDonough, through stop sign to route 220. Take route 220 about 7 miles, follow signs to park. From the Utica/Rome area take Route 12 to Oxford, New York. Make a right turn on to Route 220, go about 6 miles, follow signs to park. From New York City take Route 17 West to Binghamton, route 12 North to Oxford, NY. Left on route 220, go about 6 miles, follow signs to park.
WEATHER: Events are held regardless of weather. Plan and dress appropriately.
REFRESHMENTS: Food and restrooms are available at the park.
