Come join the Finger Lakes Volkssport Club for a 10k walk through the Binghamton University campus in Vestal, NY. This walk will go through campus and the Binghamton University Nature Preserve.

TRAIL INFORMATION/CONDITIONS: Trail is rated 2. Walk is on roads, sidewalks and on trails in the Nature Preserve. Bring bug spray. The Nature Preserve has birds fish, turtles, deer and a beaver dam!
ELIGIBILITY: All ages are welcome to participate. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Pets must be on a leash and you should clean up after your pet.
REGISTRATION: Event is elegible for acquisition of IVV achievement awards. One event stamp may be entered in event books. Fee is $3.00. Unlimited distance credit may be entered in distance books. You may walk twice using the same start card. Participants may walk at no charge if no event credit or award is wanted.
AWARD: limited B awards available
TIME: Start anytime between 10:00 a.m. and noon (note short check-in time)
DIRECTIONS: From the north: Follow I-81 S to NY-201 S in Johnson City. Take exit 70S from NY-17 W
1 h 7 min (74.4 mi) Continue on NY-201 S. Drive to Bunn Hill Rd in Vestal. The Old Tea Shop is just past Denny's.
WEATHER: Events are held regardless of weather. Plan and dress appropriately.
REFRESHMENTS: The Old Tea Shop does not open until noon. There are numerous fast food places on Vestal parkway (Route 434) that have restrooms and there are restrooms on campus.
