Cinda & Doug Gausman and Sue and Stan Connelly huddle under the tent at the start point of the Bowman Lake walk. Six intrepid walkers did the Bowman Lake walk last Sunday. Turnout was low, due to the projected stormy weather. We had one walker from Illinois show up for the event. The skies opened up, on cue, around 12:30ish. Many thanks to the die-hard folks who braved the weather. Let's hope that our Erie Canal walk in August has sunny skies!

Don't forget our walk this Sunday at Bowman Lake State Park. The walk is a combination of wooded trails and country roads. Feel free to bring a swimsuit for after the walk. Kayaks/canoes can also be rented. The 10k route will have an option to go to to the Berry Hill Fire Tower, well worth the extra distance for the fantastic views.
